I have many electrical appliances in my kitchen already. And so far I assumed that a microwave was all you needed to make pizzas. As it turns out, there are ovens out there that are especially designed to prepare pizzas. I never took the idea seriously, especially because our kitchen is already stuffed with large kitchen appliances. Me and a friend started browsing around online a little bit to have a look at pizza ovens online, but our attention quickly drifted to a football game on television. We didn’t really look back.

Presto 03430 Pizzazz Pizza Oven – Review

As a joke, my friend gave me the Presto 03430 Pizzazz Pizza Oven as a gift. Naturally, I ended up actually using it. I must say that I was pleasantly surprised by this pizza oven’s performance. It really can deliver quite a tasty pizza. It can either take frozen pizzas or fresh pizzas. Since we’ve already used our microwave on many occasions to cook frozen pizzas, we’ve decided to go with fresh ones so this oven has a chance to show us what it’s got. This oven has plenty of space to accommodate all those pizzas, but the rest of the machine is quite compact as far as large kitchen appliances go.

The great thing about the Presto 03430 Pizzazz Pizza Oven is that is has all the cooking times listed on the back. You won’t ever have to follow instructions from the boxes of all the frozen pizzas you want to cook in here. All you have to do is place the pizza in here and set the timer to, say, 10 minutes. Then you can simply watch it rotate until the timer runs out and an alarm goes off. The pizzas I cook in here come out crisper and a lot more evenly cooked than some of the best large kitchen appliances I have, such as my conventional oven and my microwave!

This baby goes up to 12” pizzas, which should be enough for most families. After all, you can cook one 12 incher and put in a second pizza. This will probably finish cooking before four family members have finished two slices of pizza each. It will take less than 15 minutes or so. Other large kitchen appliances, especially the conventional oven, will easily take 25 minutes to do what the Presto 03430 Pizza Oven can do in about 10 minutes! Highly recommended for those who enjoy this fine Italian recipe!
