Last month, my old microwave broke down and it wasn’t worth the money to have it repaired anymore. The thing was over a decade old and it served us well throughout the years. But we are living in a modern era of replaceable electronic kitchen appliances nowadays, so I decided to just go ahead and buy a new one. I figured a more modern microwave oven would have more features and that those would be fun to experiment with. I also wanted a much larger microwave, because I was always thought the small size of my old one was slightly annoying.

I was reading the reviews online and it wasn’t long until the Panasonic NN-H965BF Microwave Oven caught my eye. Not only did people write generally good reviews of this, but it also looks incredibly slick! I’m not sure if this microwave comes in other colors, but I have the black one. It’s easily the best looking large kitchen appliance in the whole kitchen. The whole house, even! One major reason for purchasing this one, was that the controls are easy. My wife is kind of technologically challenged so this was a major influence in the purchase decision. On this machine, setting the time is so easy. It has a button that you can press to add another minute to the cooking time. This is child’s play!

I’ve compared this microwave’s performance with those of friends’. Some of my friends have 1000 watt ovens, which is comparable to this machine’s 1250 watt. Foods cook considerably quicker in the Panasonic NN-H965BF microwave oven. I’ve never seen it burn anything in the two weeks that I’ve been using it, so I have a good feeling about it. As far as large kitchen appliances prices go, this microwave is pretty cheap. Shipping was free. Quite a surprise, considering the size. All in all, we got a lot of bang for our buck.

The greatest thing about this microwave is the size. It will easily fit in a large pizza and it will turn without any problems whatsoever. This machine isn’t very high. But you’re still dealing with a fairly large kitchen appliance here, because it’s just so wide! This is a good thing, in my opinion. After years of not being able to fit anything I wanted into my microwave, I don’t have to worry about this anymore. Me and the wife will be having an extra large pizza this weekend!
